Launch of Hongkong Post's EC-Ship online portal

announced the launch of Hongkong Post's EC-Ship online portal. To promote and
support the growth of e-commerce, Hongkong Post launched the new EC-Ship
online portal today to provide a one-stop selling and shipping solution to
online sellers. Customers are no longer required to prepare a manual address
pack and customs declaration and affix stamps onto each item before posting.
They can simply prepare shipping labels via this EC-Ship online portal and
have the option of using four types of international mail service, namely the
e-Express Service to the US, Standard Speedpost, Air Registration and Air
Parcel service. All mail items prepared via the EC-Ship online portal can be
posted at 26 bulk acceptance counters. Functions of the new EC-Ship online
portal include: * Provide all-in-one shipping labels, which include posting
information and customs declaration, for four types of international
services; * Provide an online credit card payment function; * Offer features
and postage comparison of four types of international services; * Provide an
electronic copy of Certificate of Posting; * Provide an online
track-and-trace service; and * Maintain address books and posting records
