Wed, 06/29/2011 - 17:14 — Anonymous Hongkong Post announced today (June 29)
that postal services to Canada, previously affected by strike action taken by
the postal workers' union, have resumed. Nevertheless, owing to the large
volume of backlog that built up during the strike action, Hongkong Post
expects that it may take at least one to two weeks to clear the existing
backlog after the resumption of services. Hence, mail delivery services
(including Speedpost) in Canada will be subject to delay. Customers are
advised to refrain from sending mail to Canada as far as possible until the
services are fully restored to normal.
