Wed, 11/09/2011 - 09:13 — Anonymous Hongkong Post today (November 9)
announced that a set of stamps on the theme entitled "Hong Kong, China -
Romania Joint Issue on Handicraft" will be released for sale together with
associated philatelic products on November 24. Hongkong Post and Romfilatelia
have jointly issued a set of two stamps on handicrafts to showcase works from
the two places, dough figurines in Hong Kong and painted eggs in Romania,
highlighting the vitality of the art forms. This marks the 11th joint stamp
issue between Hongkong Post and other postal administrations. Although Hong
Kong and Romania are far apart geographically, they share the same respect
and passion for traditional craftsmanship, as demonstrated through this joint
stamp issue. Official First Day Covers will be put on sale at $1 each at all
post offices from November 10. Stamps and associated philatelic products will
be displayed at the General Post Office, Tsim Sha Tsui Post Office, Tsuen Wan
Post Office and Sha Tin Central Post Office from the same day. Advance orders
for servicing self-provided covers will be accepted at all philatelic offices
from November 10 to 16. Further information can be obtained from the website
of Hongkong Post at www.hongkongpost.com. Appendix The "Hong Kong, China -
