that a new and free-of-charge Hongkong Post iPhone application would be
available for download from the App Store on June 28. This new iPhone
application provides ease-to-use functionalities for the public to trace
delivery status of mail items, calculate postage and obtain other postal
information anywhere and anytime. Functions of the new iPhone application
include:
* Follow the delivery status of mail items
* Send the delivery status to others via SMS or email
* Input mail item numbers once for subsequent delivery status update
* Locate the nearest post offices and street posting boxes on map
* Find out the opening hours and postal services provided at any post office
* Calculate the postage for local and international mails
* Offer postage comparison for different services
* View the latest notices and press releases of Hongkong Post
* Receive information about the latest promotion offers of Hongkong Post
